FATS ServerFirmix Asterisk™ Telefony Server provides extended telephony features by complementing traditional PBX systems. FATS Server is spliced into the connection between PBX and ISDN telco. While the full functionality can only be used from SIP phone extensions, most features are also provided to the old PBX extension. Gradual replacement of PBX extensions with SIP phones allows a smooth migration to a complete VoIP setup. FATS Server uses standard PC hardware and the Asterisk™ open source telephony software.
