FATS2FATS2 Firmix Advanced Telephone System FATS2 is an IP-based telephony system. The main target are sites with up to 500 users. Larger installations are possible because of its scalable software architecture. FATS2 is build on open standards for IP-based voice communication.
Thanks to open interfaces and the use of open source components FATS2 offers great flexibility in the implementation and easy integration into existing IT systems. Voicemail, operator console and user portal are integral parts of FATS2. CTI applications such as Outlook® integration, click2dial and web dialer provide a rich set of tools for advanced communication. FATS2 connects with the public telephone network both through traditional ISDN interfaces and via VoIP providers - you may facilitate both worlds depending on the cost, availability, load and security as you need. High-definition audio quality is available for internal calls and provides a much higher voice clarity than standard telephony. A fail-safe telephony service is available through the highly available, redundant FATS2 cluster solution. Big companies and governmental organisations in Austria use the FATS2 telephone system to their fullest satisfaction with no downtime at all.
