Firmix implements H.323 VoIP phone

On behalf of Oregano Systems, an Austrian design house, FirmiX developed an Embedded Linux based VoIP phone. The phone supports the ITU-T H.323 standard. The hardware architecture is based on the INCA-IP processor from Infineon (MIPS architecture).

The use of existing and proven open source libraries minimized the development effort significantly. These libraries guarantee interoperability in the application-, network- and transport layer. Further advantages of the solution include product stability, freely available source code and cost-free licenses.
