The City of Bregenz (capital of the most western Austrian province Vorarlberg) puts the Firmix Asterisk™ Telephony Server (FATS) into operation. It enhances the existing telephony system providing new voice over IP (VoIP) services.

Firmix implements H.323 VoIP phone

On behalf of Oregano Systems, an Austrian design house, FirmiX developed an Embedded Linux based VoIP phone. The phone supports the ITU-T H.323 standard. The hardware architecture is based on the INCA-IP processor from Infineon (MIPS architecture).
